RSVP Mineral County now has a new office in Superior. Located at 102 River Street, the new hours will be every Wednesday from 2-4 pm. The hrs. in St. Regis will be changing to the 2nd Tuesday of the every month from 12-2.

55 Alive in Mineral County
RSVP Mineral County was able to contact a very nice gentleman out of Hamilton to come to Mineral County and do the 55 Alive program.
Thom Aimsworth was greeted by sixteen Mineral County residents who signed up for the 55 Alive class held in the Mineral County Chamber office on November 29, 2011, at 9:00 in the morning. With plenty of hot coffee in our systems we tackled the AARP Driver Safety Program, which identified ways that we, as older drivers, can compensate for the physical changes that occur as we age. But most important, the curriculum provided opportunities for us to identify our own individual problem areas and apply strategies and techniques necessary to improve our driving behavior.
All attendees received an AARP Driver Safety Program Completion Certificate, that can be presented to the insurance carrier and possibly receive discounts on your auto insurance. RSVP Mineral County is looking at doing another class possibly in May 2012.
